Wedding

The start of another great summer!

Wednesday, 2 June 2004 23:45 PM

Our first wedding anniversary was a good reason to organize our first junktrip of the year. Last Saturday we rented a Chinese boat, bought some white wine, and prepared some snacks. We invited a bunch of friends and colleagues and set out for a day trip around Hong Kong Island.

We departed from Discovery Bay and set course to Po Toi Island, passing South of Hong Kong Island. Near Poi Toi Island ferry pier we stopped for some swimming and “drijfgenot”.

After swimming we had a very nice seafood lunch at Ming Kee Restaurant. Lunch included some very good lobster, fried squid, prawns, and garoupa.

On the way back sailed via the other side of Hong Kong Island through Victoria Harbour. At about 5 pm we were at Queen’s Pier in Central and at 6 pm we were back in DB.

The start of another great summer!

Monday, 26 May 2003 01:31 AM

The job is done - and it’s well done.

We’re even happier than before and had a nice and long day to celebrate this important event.

Enjoy this first batch of pictures - I made it at the last moment before our trip at 1 am in the morning. More will follow later.

The pictures are here in chronological order.

Thanks to everyone from Holland / Hong Kong / Philippines etc who has send us their nice wishes, sweet messages, and nice presents!

When you read this message we are on our honeymoon which brings us to Bangkok, Cambodia, and Koh Samui for about two weeks.

See / speak to you all soon,

Marc / Nadine
